We are pleased to announce that EMERNA Group AB and SwedMotor AB in Haninge have entered into an acquisition agreement. As of 14 December 2020, EMERNA Group AB will take over all shares in SwedMotor AB and its operations. EMERNA Group already owns Diesel Power AB in Kungsbacka. Through the acquisition, it is strengthening its position as leading independent engine distributor in Sweden.
With strong representation in both Stockholm and Gothenburg, new opportunities arise to effectively meet the needs of customers and partners in the metropolitan areas. SwedMotor and Diesel Power will therefore initiate a close collaboration, mainly regarding service and aftermarket products.
SwedMotor and Diesel Power will continue to be independent companies, with their own management teams and their respective agency agreements with world-leading brands. Moreover, the acquisition does not entail any personnel changes within the companies.
