As the year draws to a close, we at Dpower extend our warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year to all our valued customers and partners. This year has been remarkable, marked by significant milestones and a major change in our brand.
We became Dpower
An important step for us during 2023 was the rebranding to Dpower and the launch of our new website. This change represents a significant evolution for us. It reflects the journey that we’ve made over the years, where we have expanded our offer to include complete drivelines, turnkey solutions, accessories, and comprehensive service and support.
In essence, we help our customers maximise their machine and boat performance and assist them in everything from commissioning to support. And, of course, we have a line-up of electrical, gas-powered, petrol, and diesel engines to ensure we cover all applications and needs.
Breakthrough on the commercial marine market
Throughout 2023, our marine applications experienced substantial growth, particularly in Finland and Sweden. Collaborating with leading yards, much of the increase comes from supplying solutions to the Navy, Coast Guard, pilot boats, offshore supply vessels, and crew boats for wind farms.
The increase in demand is linked partly to MAN’s diverse engine range, incorporating traditional combustion engines, e-machines, and hybrids. Our supplied solutions are certified to meet IMO Tier II & III and EU Stage V standards and including hybrid options, addressing a wide spectrum of client requirements.
Continued growth in industrial applications
Within the forestry sector, our partnership with Alstor also expanded in 2023. The reliability of Yanmar engines, backed by a five-year warranty, has been instrumental in this success. It is clear that this quality assurance resonates with Alstor’s customers, and we take pride in being their trusted supplier for engines and drivelines.
Our collaboration with KSB has also intensified, concentrating on turnkey solutions for their emergency pump installations. Notably, we supplied engines to support the operations of one of Sweden’s largest paper mills, Skärbläcka bruk.
