With MAN industrial gas engines, Dpower offers efficient and reliable gas engine solutions within our Industry Power business area. These engines are designed for continuous operation in power generation and demanding industrial applications where gas is the preferred fuel. We focus on uptime, efficiency and a predictable total cost of ownership throughout the engine’s life.
Applications and operating modes
MAN industrial gas engines are mainly used for combined heat and power (CHP), biogas plants, industrial power generation and other installations where natural gas or biogas is available. Typical operating modes include continuous prime power, peak shaving and backup power. Together with you, we review fuel type, load profile, ambient conditions and required output in order to select the correct engine type and configuration.
Thanks to advanced combustion control and monitoring systems, MAN gas engines can deliver high efficiency while keeping emissions within strict limits. When combined with heat recovery systems, they can also provide both electricity and useful heat to your plant.
System solutions with Industry Power
When you choose MAN industrial gas engines through Dpower, you get more than the engine itself. We act as a system partner and help you develop a comprehensive concept centered on the gas engine. This includes integration with Dpower gensets, switchgear, gas train, cooling systems, exhaust aftertreatment, and control systems.
By taking responsibility for the full concept, we can support you from pre-study and sizing through installation, commissioning and optimisation in operation. The goal is always to achieve high availability, good fuel utilisation and easy access to service and spare parts.

Service, spare parts and technical support
Dpower has gas engines from MAN Engines in the power range from 80 – 800 kW for biogas, landfill gas or sewage gas. The motors are also in the power range 37 – 550 kW for natural gas.
