Under the theme &#8220;Change of Mobility on the Water,&#8221; MAN Engines will introduce new technologies and products aimed at enhancing efficiency and sustainability in the maritime sector.<\/p><h3>New MAN D3872 Engine Series<\/h3><p>The highlight of MAN Engines&#8217; showcase is the all-new MAN D3872 V12 workboat engine. With a displacement of 30 liters, this engine is a significant upgrade from the long-standing 24-liter MAN D2862 series. The new engine series includes variants such as the LE432, which delivers 1,213 kW (1,650 hp) at 2,100 rpm, tailored for medium-duty applications. The series also features light-duty variants with power outputs of 1,618 and 1,471 kW (2,200 and 2,000 hp) respectively, broadening the engine portfolio to meet diverse maritime needs.<\/p><h3>Advanced Exhaust Gas Aftertreatment System<\/h3><p>Another significant innovation is MAN Engines\u2019 modular exhaust gas aftertreatment system. This system, designed to meet stringent emission standards like EPA Tier 4 and IMO Tier III, integrates an SCR system and, when required, a diesel particulate filter. The system not only ensures compliance with current emission regulations but also enhances fuel efficiency by 3-8% thanks to advanced MAN combustion technology.<\/p><h3>MAN Genuine Remanufactured Engines<\/h3><p>Emphasizing sustainability, MAN Truck &amp; Bus is extending its successful engine remanufacturing program to marine applications. The remanufactured engines, produced at MAN\u2019s engine competence center, incorporate the latest technical advancements and are covered by the same warranty as new engines.
